The second-ranked William Smith lacrosse team embarks on a season-long five-game road trip this weekend, April 5-6, when it heads to the North Country for a pair of Liberty League contests. The Herons will be at St. Lawrence on Friday at 4 p.m. and take on Clarkson on Saturday at 2 p.m.

William Smith is 9-0 overall on the season and is coming off a 13-4 win over Skidmore last Saturday. The Herons are 3-0 in Liberty League play and enter the weekend tied for first in the conference standings with the Golden Knights and Ithaca.

The Saints are 2-6 overall with a 2-1 mark in conference play. St. Lawrence is tied for fourth in the conference standings. The Saints are looking to rebound from a 19-3 loss to No. 1 Middlebury on Tuesday.

Clarkson is 8-1 overall with a 3-0 record in conference play. The Golden Knights will host the Bombers on Friday.
