Baseball to host Saints in roving home series

4/5/2024 2:32:00 PM

The Hobart baseball team will host Liberty League rival St. Lawrence University for a three-game series this weekend. With recent rain and snow making McDonough Park unplayable, the Statesmen will face the Saints in Game 1 at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at Falcon Park in Auburn, New York. The series will shift to Canandaigua for a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 7 at Finger Lakes Community College's baseball field.

All three games are scheduled to be webcast on HWS All-Access with Live Stats available on HWSAthletics.com.

Hobart (6-11, 1-4 Liberty) is coming off a doubleheader split with Rochester on March 30. First-year Gavin Brignall delivered the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the eighth to give the Statesmen a 5-4 win in Game 1.
