GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart cross country team raced to a second-place finish at the Cross Country Only Championships this afternoon held at Seneca Lake State Park. Sophomore
Duncan Kipkoech led the Statesmen in the 8-kilometer race with a second-place finish after stopping the clock at 26:30.6.
First-year
Malachi Quinn followed closely behind and came in 13th place after crossing the finish line at 27:56.8, while sophomore Philip Dilgard Clark rounded out Hobart's top-three in 17th place after stopping the clock at 28:13.8.
Clarkson finished on top of the team leaderboard after producing five top-10 finishers on the afternoon. Clarkson's Drew Reigelsperger was the event's individual medalist after crossing the finish line of the 8k race with a time of 26:06.6.
