ROCHESTER, N.Y.—The Hobart cross country team concluded it season with a 17th place finish out of 27 teams at the 2025 NCAA Niagara Regional Championships this morning. The 8-kilometer race was hosted by RIT at Genesee Valley Park.
Sophomore
Duncan Kipkoech led the Statesmen with a 64th place finish out of 189 runners after crossing the finish line at 26:57.9. Senior
Sean Moran was the next to finish for Hobart as he finished 103rd with a time of 27:55.6. First-year
Malachi Quinn rounded out Hobart's top-three finishers coming in at 113th after stopping the clock at 28:14.4.
Sophomore
Philip Dilgard-Clark finished closely behind in 115th place after stopping the clock at 28:17.8, while classmate
Evan Shannon placed 136th with a time of 29:04.7.
SUNY Geneseo won this year's team championship with 29 points after producing four top-10 finishers including the top-three finishers in the 8k race. New York University came in second with 47 team points and had three runners finish top-10. Geneseo's Ryan Hagan was the meets individual medalist after stopping the clock at 24:11.7, roughly 40 seconds faster than teammate Emerson Corner in second.
