CANTON, N.Y.—The Hobart cross country team ran to an eighth-place finish at the Liberty League Championships this afternoon hosted by St. Lawrence.
Sophomore
Duncan Kipkoech led the Statesmen with a 41st place finish after stopping the clock at 27:47.8. He was followed by first-year
Malachi Quinn in 52nd with a time of 28:25.9. Sophomore
Philip Dilgard-Clark rounded out the top three Statesmen with a 53rd place finish after clocking in at 28:43.2.
Senior
Sean Moran added a 54th place finish after crossing the finish line at 28.55.7, while sophomore
Evan Shannon followed in 55th with a time of 29:15.6.
RPI finished on top of the team leaderboard after producing seven top-10 finishers in the 8-kilometer race. St. Lawrence's Nicholas Lyndaker was the event's individual medalists after stopping the clock at 25:16.6. It is the second straight year Lyndaker was crowned the individual champion.
