William Smith junior Tiana Wolkiewicz was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Bowler of the Week by the conference office today. She led the Herons to a pair of wins over Roberts Wesleyan over the weekend.
 
Wolkiewicz competed in all 20 frames last week, bowling a career-high 218 to lead the Herons to victory in the traditional match against the Red Hawks. In the Baker match against RWU, she helped William Smith to a 135-pin victory. She accounted for 25% of the team's 32 strikes against RWU.
 
William Smith extended its winning streak to seven matches with a 927-824 win over Roberts in the traditional match and an 860-725 victory in the Baker match. The Herons are 8-4 overall and return to action Nov. 1-2 when they compete in the Niagara Fall Invitational.
