Five members of the William Smith bowling team earned a spot on the 2025-26 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Academic All-Conference team which was announced today. Additionally, four Herons were further honored as Peak Performers for having a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall 2025 semester.
 
To earn AMCC Academic All-Conference recognition, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher through the end of the fall semester. The following Herons were recognized for their academic excellence.
 

• Caitlyn Anschutz, senior, Child Advocacy and Educational Studies
• # Colleen Jump, junior, Mathematics and Music
• # Sarah Shoobe, sophomore, Mathematics and Educational Studies
• # Tiana Wolkiewicz, junior, Religious Studies
• # Natalie Yale, first-year, undeclared

Anschutz, who transferred to William Smith from Medaille, was named Academic All-Conference in each of her four seasons. Jump and Wolkiewicz are three-time honorees, while Shoobe is making her second straight appearance.
 
William Smith finished the season with a 52-32 record, the most wins in a season in program history. The Herons finished third at the AMCC Championship, marking the third straight year they've finished in the top three.
