William Smith junior Colleen Jump was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Bowler of the Week by the AMCC office today. She's the second Heron to earn the award this season.
 
At the Niagara Fall Open over the weekend, Jump earned All-Tournament honors after posting the fourth highest average in Saturday's action (205.6). She bowled a team-high 26 strikes (52% strike rate) on the day. Jump bowled a career-high 244, the fifth highest game in Heron history, to lead the William Smith to an upset of the No. 25 Purple Eagles. Then, in a win over Hilbert, she rolled a 233, the 10th highest game in program history. Jump also produced a 207 in a win over Mercyhurst. On Sunday, she led the Herons to another 4-1 day, beating Daemen in the fifth-place match 4-3 in a best of 7 Baker match.
 
This is the third time in her career that Jump has been named the AMCC Bowler of the Week. She earned the honor twice in 2023-24 on her way to AMCC Rookie of the Year and NTCA Division III Rookie of the Year accolades.
 
William Smith (16-6) will begin Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play Nov. 15-16 in Erie, Pennsylvania.
