GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart lacrosse team will play the second game of its four-game season-opening home stand on Stiles Field in the Poole Family Sports Dome starting at noon, Saturday, Feb. 15 against 17th-ranked Michigan.
Due to fire code restrictions, spectators will be limited to only those people listed on the teams' pass lists. The game will be broadcast on WEOS-FM (89.5/90.3). Online coverage includes streaming video on HWS All-Access and Live Stats.

AWARD WINNING PERFORMANCE
- Senior attackman Alex Rosa scored a career-high five goals in the win over the Golden Griffins, earning the Under Armour Atlantic 10 Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week award. He also contributed three ground balls and a caused turnover.
FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING
X-MEN
- Hobart looked to be in midseason form at the faceoff X last week. The Statesmen won 23-of-35 faceoffs and enjoyed a 38-30 advantage in ground balls.
- Graduate transfer Cole Emmanuel led the way, winning 12-of-18 while grabbing a team-high seven ground balls.
SCOUTING REPORT
- Offensively, Michigan is led by Ryan Cohen and Jack Jenkins, who both have seven points. Cohen has a team-high four goals to go with three assists, while Jenkins has a team-high five helpers and a pair of tallies.
- Jackie Weller has taken the lion's share of the faceoffs for the Wolverines, winning 22-of-40 and collecting a team-high 11 ground balls.
- Defensively, Hunter Taylor has played all 120 minutes in goal, producing 17 saves, a .515 save percentage, an 8.00 GAA and a 1-1 record.
SERIES SNAPSHOT
- Saturday's game will be the third meeting of the Statesmen and Wolverines.
- Hobart won the inaugural showdown 11-7 in Geneva back in 2013.
