Statesmen visit RMU in 1st road trip of the season

The Hobart lacrosse team will travel to Moon Township, Pennsylvania, to take on Robert Morris at Joe Walton Stadium at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1. The Statesmen will be playing their first road game of the season after going 2-2 in a four-game homestand to start the year.
 
The game will be broadcast live on WEOS-FM (89.5/90.3) and webcast on ESPN+.
 
SERIES SNAPSHOT
  • Saturday will be the 14th meeting between the Statesmen and Colonials.
  • Hobart leads the series, which began in 2005, 8-5.

  • Senior attackman Alex Rosa leads the team with 13 goals and is second with three extra-man goals.
  • Classmate Will Delano is tied for the national lead with four extra-man goals. He's second on the team with 10 points (9-1).
  • Peterkin also has 10 points on three goals and a team-high seven assists.
  • Defensemen senior Nolan Firth and junior Michael Shafer are tied for the team lead with four caused turnovers.
 
COLONIAL LEADERS
  • Senior attackman David Burr leads the RMU offense with seven goals and nine points.
  • Junior attackman Calum Brennan is right behind him with six goals and eight points.
  • Sophomore defenseman Owen Tapper has a team-high six caused turnovers.
  • Sophomore goalie Nate Fechter has played all but 15 minutes this season for the Colonials, sporting a 2-2 record with a 12.00 GAA and a .505 save percentage.
