The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recognized the William Smith swimming and diving team as a 2024 Scholar All-American Team for the fall semester. This is the 11th consecutive semester the Herons have earned the distinction.
The CSCAA selected 781 teams from 459 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team this semester. Teams were selected based on their fall 2024 grade point averages and represent 19,209 outstanding student-athletes nationwide. William Smith's 29 student-athletes compiled a team GPA of 3.45 in the fall.
"We are so proud that the Herons have been named the CSCAA Scholar All-Americ team again," said Head Coach Elizabeth Bernardy. "This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and excellence our student athletes demonstrate both in and out of the pool. It is a testement to their commitment to academic success and athletic achievement, and we couldn't be more excited to show off this hard work in a few weeks at Liberty Leagues."
William Smith swimming and diving is 4-3 in dual meets this season heading into the Liberty League Championships Feb. 19-22 in Ithaca, New York.
