The Hobart and William Smith swimming and diving teams were recently honored as Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America for their academic excellence during the 2025 spring semester.

The CSCAA selected 763 teams from 432 institutions as Scholar All-America Teams this semester. Those teams comprised 18,459 student-athletes. To earn the prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a GPA of 3.00 or higher during the semester.
William Smith's 25 swimmers and divers collectively earned a 3.42 GPA this spring. It's the 12th consecutive semester that the Herons have earned Scholar All-America recognition. William Smith went 4-3 in dual meets during the 2024-25 season and finished the campaign with a ninth place finish in the Liberty League Championships.

Hobart, which just completed its third season since returning to varsity status, saw its 10 student-athletes produce a 3.35 GPA in the spring. This is the third time the Statesmen have been a Scholar All-America Team since returning to Bristol Pool. Hobart went 2-5 in dual meets and placed eighth at the Liberty League Championships.
