Hobart heads to Syracuse for Tuesday clash with Le Moyne

The Hobart lacrosse team will travel to Syracuse on Tuesday, March 11 to take on Le Moyne at Ted Grant Field. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
 
The game will be broadcast live on WHWS-FM (105.7) in Geneva. Fans can also track the action online via NEC Front Row and live stats.
 
FOR THE RECORD
  • The Statesmen enter the game with a 2-4 record following a 17-12 loss to UAlbany on Saturday.
  • The Dolphins have won back-to-back games to improve to 3-1 on the year.
 
COMMON GROUND
  • Hobart and Le Moyne have one common opponent so far this season. Both teams defeated Canisius in their season opener.
  • Behind senior Alex Rosa's five-goal performance, the Statesmen toppled the Golden Griffins 21-12 on Feb. 8.

FAMILIAR NAMES
  • A couple of names on the Le Moyne roster will look familiar to Hobart fans.
  • Before graduate student Zachary Delaney played attack for the Dolphins, he was a midfielder for the Statesmen. He graduated from Hobart in 2024 with a degree in economics.
  • First-year attackman Charles Colombi also has Hobart ties. His brother, Johnny, was the starting quarterback for the Statesmen football team the past two seasons.
