The Herons went 2-0 last week, knocking off RIT 12-10 and Rochester 17-6. With their two wins, William Smith improved to 11-3 overall this season and 8-0 in Liberty League play. The Herons held at No. 10 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Poll and No. 11 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll. William Smith clinched its 10th Liberty League regular season title with the two wins and earned the first round bye in the conference tournament.

Murray finished the weekend with 12 points on 10 goals and two assists. On Wednesday, she matched her career-highs with six goals and seven points. With William Smith trailing 2-0 to the Tigers, Murray recorded a natural hat trick to give the Herons the lead 3-2. Â Murray then spearheaded a five-goal run factoring into four (3g, 1a) of the five goals. Against Rochester, Murray recorded five points on four goals and an assist. Four of her five points came in the first quarter against the Yellowjackets. She had three goals and an assist in the opening frame. Â Murray has started all 14 games this season. She leads the Herons with 42 goals and 57 points.

Smeader played all 120 minutes in the William Smith goal. She finished the week with a .467 save percentage and an 8.00 GAA. Smeader made 14 saves, stopping seven shots in each contest. She added five ground balls. Smeader has started all 14 games this year. She is 11-3 overall with a 7.00 GAA and a .529 save percentage. Smeader is 14th in the nation in GAA and 14th in save percentage.

William Smith closes out its regular season Saturday, April 26, when it takes on Vassar. Opening draw is scheduled for 11 a.m.
