Roberto Vega was recently named a College Squash Association Scholar-Athlete.

The CSA Scholar-Athlete award is granted to junior and senior athletes who have played on their college team throughout their career, earned at least two varsity letters, participated in a majority of their matches within the top 10 spots in the lineup and achieved a high academic standing at their institution.

CSA Scholar-Athletes embody the values of the association achieving a high level of play on the court while excelling in the classroom.

An architectural studies and environmental studies major, Vega wrapped up his senior season with a 7-7 overall record. He played primarily in the top four spots of the lineup. A second team All-Liberty League selection, Vega went 5-4 in the No. 3 spot. He was 3-0 at the CSA Team Championships. A three-time Liberty League All-Academic selection, Vega finished his career with a 35-36 overall record.
