VERONA, N.Y. – The Hobart golf team wrapped up its 2024-25 season this weekend at the Liberty League Championships at the Shenendoah Golf Course at Turning Stone Resort. The Statesmen finished in seventh place at the conclusion of the three-day event.
First-year Robby Kurzer led Hobart in his first collegiate conference championships, finishing tied for 22nd at 12 over par through three days. Sophomore Gavin Poyer finished close behind in 25th after shooting +17 on the weekend, while classmate Casey Graham finished two strokes behind in a tie for 27th. Junior's Jake Romney and Charlie Craig rounded out the Statesmen squad, finishing 30th and 32nd overall.
STATESMEN SCORES
The University of Rochester won its second straight title after finishing nine under par as a team through three days on competition. RPI finished second at +8, while NYU rounded out the top three at +9. Rochester's Luke Evans was the individual medalist after finishing four under par.
