GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart football team will play at Ithaca to open Liberty League play on Saturday, Sept. 27. The game is set to kick off at 1 p.m.
The game will be broadcast on WHWS-FM (105.7). It will be webcast on ICTV.org with live stats on the Ithaca athletics website.

SERIES SNAPSHOT
- Saturday's game will be the 38th meeting between Hobart and Ithaca. The Bombers lead in the series of 31-6, with all six of the Statesmen's wins coming on Boswell Field.
- Hobart won last season's showdown 16-7. E.J. Taylor rushed for 99 yards, including a 2-yard first quarter TD, and kicker Tobais Wefering '25 converted three field goals to keep the Statesmen in the lead.
- Ithaca won 24-14 the last time the teams met on South Hill, Sept. 30, 2023. Running back Jalen Leonard-Osbourne led the Bombers' ground game with 155 yards and a touchdown.

- Hobart defense has been outstanding this season. The Statesmen lead the league with eight sacks and are second in scoring defense (19.7), rushing defense (113.7), fumbles recovered (3).
- Additionally, Taylor is second in the league in total rushing yards (265) and rushing yards per game (88.3).
WEEK 3
- Hobart won its home opener 20-17 over Utica last Saturday. Taylor gave the Statesmen 105 yards rushing and three touchdowns, the last one with 1:08 remaining to take the lead.
- Hobart's defense limited the Pioneers to 358 yards and just two TDs. Utica came into the game averaging 45.0 points and more than 500 yards per game.
- Ithaca welcomed Hilbert to the Liberty League with a 65-3 rout in Hamburg last week. Five different Bombers rushed for touchdowns and three more caught TD passes.
- The Hawks managed just 108 yards of total offense against Ithaca.
