MATCH SUMMARY

• The Bears won all eight matches in 3-0 sweeps.
• In the No. 7 spot, Katherine Hughey put up a strong fight, but was defeated by Julia Miyasaka, 14-12, 11-3, 11-9.
• Amalia Clemente also was in a hard-fought match at No. 8 but ultimately fell, 11-5, 11-2, 11-6.
