The 2025 Academic All-District® Football teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were announced today and included seven Hobart Statesmen among the nation's top student-athletes.

Hunter Vos and
Conor Weeks were lauded for their excellence in the classroom and on the gridiron.
To be nominated for Academic All-District consideration, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50. Additionally, nominees must play in at least 90% of their team's game or start 66%. Qualified nominees receive Academic All-District honors and then are considered for the highly selective Academic All-America ballot.
A business management and entrepreneurial studies major, Hansen also earned Liberty League All-Academic recognition this year. The sophomore wide receiver played in 10 games this season, catching seven passes for 76 yards.
A business management and entrepreneurial studies major, McKeever is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic selection. The junior tight end caught two passes for 39 yards in 10 games this season. McKeever was also an important part of the run game, opening holes for the Liberty League's top rushing offense.
An economics major, Styles is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic pick and served as a team captain this year. The junior quarterback played in 11 games, compiling 268 yards passing and 134 yards rushing.
An economics major, Taylor has earned Liberty League All-Academic recognition in each of the past two seasons. The junior running back rushed for a league-high 1,354 yards as well as 18 touchdowns. He also caught 19 passes for 172 yards and a TD. Taylor's lengthy list of athletic accomplishments this season, included seven consecutive and nine overall 100-yard games, MVP honors of the ECAC Lynah Bowl, first team All-Liberty League and D3football.com second team All-Region.
A physics major, Van Tassel also earned Liberty League All-Academic honors this year. The sophomore free safety started eight of the nine games he played, recording 32 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery.
A business management and entrepreneurial studies major, Vos is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic selection. The junior defensive end played in all 11 games, finishing fourth on the team with 46 tackles, including five tackles for loss and three sacks.
Weeks was also named to the Liberty League All-Academic team this season. A sophomore, he played in all 11 games on special teams as the punting unit's long snapper and on PATs and field goals as the short snapper.
Hobart was 6-5 overall this season, finishing the year on a five-game winning streak. Hobart capped the season with a 42-14 win over Maritime in the ECAC Lynah Bowl.
