WATERVILLE, MAINE—The Hobart squash team was defeated by 20th-ranked Colby 9-0 at the Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center this evening. It was Hobart's sixth match against a nationally-ranked team to start the season.

- With the win, Colby is now 2-3 overall on the season.
- The Statesmen are now 0-5 overall.
MATCH SUMMARY
- The Mules won all nine matches in 3-0 sweeps.
- Gabriel Garcia put up a strong fight in the No. 4 spot, but was ultimately defeated by Youssif Mostafa, 11-4, 11-7, 11-4.
- Jayden Saldana also had a tight match but was edged, 11-3, 11-7, 11-5.

Hobart will be back in action tomorrow, Jan. 9, when it heads to Brunswick, Maine to take on Bowdoin. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
