The William Smith soccer team will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 3, when it heads to Potsdam, New York, to take on Liberty League foe Clarkson. The conference match is set to kick off at 3 p.m.
The Herons, who are playing the final game of a six-game road trip, are 6-3-0 overall with a 2-0-0 record in Liberty League play. William Smith has won two straight, including a 3-1 win on Wednesday over rival Ithaca. Junior
Grace Metzler scored twice for the Herons in the victory.
The Golden Knights are 5-3-1 overall and 1-1-1 in league play. Last Saturday, Clarkson and Union battled to a scoreless draw.
