Caitlyn Anschutz was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Bowler of the Week by the conference office today. She led the Herons to a third place finish at the ROC City Classic on Saturday.

Anschutz was named to the All-Tournament Team on Saturday after posting the tournament's second-highest average, a 185.2 in five traditional games. She had a league-high 18 strikes last week and her 85.7% spare conversion was the second highest in the league. Anschutz bowled a high game of 220 in the Herons' blind match and also had the team's high games against Roberts Wesleyan (177), D'Youville (193) and Daemen (176).

William Smith's 848-815 win over Roberts Wesleyan was the Herons' 51st win of the campaign, breaking the program record for wins in a season set in 2023-24 (50-23).

The ROC City Classic was William Smith's fine tuneup before competing in the 2026 AMCC Championship March 20-22 in Pittsburgh. The Herons are the tournament's No. 2 seed, earning a first round bye. William Smith will face either No. 3 Alvernia or No. 6 Pitt-Bradford in the second round.
