The ninth-ranked William Smith lacrosse team will be back in action on Saturday, March 14, when it welcomes Skidmore to The Poole Family Dome for the Liberty League opener for both teams. The opening draw is scheduled for 11 a.m.
 
Spectator seating in the Poole Family Dome is limited due to fire code. Only fans on the teams' pass lists will be admitted.
 
The Herons, who improved to 4-0 on Wednesday, are playing the middle game of a stretch of three games in five days. William Smith defeated No. 20 St. John Fisher 8-2 in a defensive thriller that saw the teams combine for 33 caused turnovers. First-year Cat Colvin led William Smith's offense with a pair of goals. Senior Delaney Cassidy and junior Kira Fulton added a goal and an assist each.
 
The Thoroughbreds are 4-2 and are looking to bounce back from a 9-8 loss to No. 19 Babson on Tuesday. The Beavers rallied from a 5-0 deficit to get the win.

• William Smith is led offensively by the duo of juniors Kira Fulton (7-4) and Mia Falco (3-7), who have 11 and 10 points, respectively.
• Fulton has recorded at least one point in 18 straight games and 21 of her last 22 appearances.
• Senior Taryn Luzi and junior Grace Rund share the team lead with eight goals each.
• Luzi has scored at least one goal in 15 straight games.
