The seventh-ranked William Smith lacrosse team returns home this weekend, April 17-18, when it welcomes Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Union to Urick Stadium for a pair of Liberty League games. Friday's contest against the Engineers is set to begin at 4 p.m. and Saturday's showdown with the Garnet Chargers is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
 
The Herons will dedicate Friday's game to One Love and Morgan's Message. The Herons will wear special shirts with both organizations' logos on them during warm-up and representatives from the campus' One Love and Morgan's Message groups will be tabling.  Saturday will be the Herons' Senior Day.

ABOUT THE HERONS (12-2, 8-0 LL)

• William Smith enters the weekend first in the league standings. The Herons can finish no lower than second.
• Junior Mia Falco leads the team with 21 assists and 39 points.
• Senior Taryn Luzi has a team-high 29 goals this season and is third on the team with 32 points. The Herons have three other players with 20-plus goals on the season.

• Kacey Pritts paces RPI's offense with 27 assists and 38 points. She is second in the Liberty League in assists per game (2.25).
• Camille Stackhouse has a team-high 26 goals.
• Emily Speck leads the Engineers with 47 draw controls and 11 caused turnovers.
• Ava Gilardone adds a team-high 16 ground balls.
