GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart lacrosse team will play its final home game of the season Saturday, April 18, when the Statesmen welcome the UMass Minutemen to Boswell Field. The busy day at Urick Stadium gets underway with Hobart's Senior Day ceremony at 11 a.m. with the opening faceoff set for noon.

HALFTIME
At halftime, the Hobart Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be introduced. Terry Cullen '64, Bill Zupan '72, Bill Sipperly '81, Dan Whelan '85, Rick Klotz '05, Brad Richard '13, Richie Bonney '14, Rob McNamara '15 and Shawn Griffin comprise the 23rd class of Statesmen legends to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame. They will officially join the hall on Saturday night during an induction ceremony at Club 86.
ABOUT THE STATESMEN (2-9, 0-4 A10)
- Hobart is led by Peterkin's 30 points and 16 assists, while DiTomasso sports a team-high 15 goals.
- With two-games remaining, Peterkin is eight points away from becoming the 20th Statesman to record 100 career points in the program's Division I era.
- Schofield leads the team with 70 faceoff wins and 44 ground balls.
- First-year defenseman Colman Craft is fifth in the nation in caused turnovers per game (2.4), boasting a team-leading 24.
- Wilson started in goal last week against High Point, making 16 saves. That matched the most saves by a Hobart keeper this season. (First-year Michael Johnson had 16 at UAlbany.)
ABOUT THE MINUTEMEN (9-4, 2-3)
- Sophomore Jack Turowsky leads the offense with 39 points and 16 assists.
- Junior Charles Kurtz leads three Minutemen with 20+ goals on the season with 26.
- TJ Casey has won a team-high 83 faceoffs, while Zach Auble has collected a UMass leading 58 ground balls and 28 caused turnovers.
- Sophomore Owen Salanger has started all 13 games in goal. He has a .573 save percentage and a 10.33 GAA. Salanger is seventh in the nation in both categories.
SERIES SNAPSHOT
- Saturday's contest will be the 14th meeting between Hobart and UMass since they first met in 1972. The Minutemen lead the series 10-3.
- Hobart won last season's showdown 16-15 in Amherst, Massachusetts, marking the first time the Statesmen have won at Garber Field. Peterkin and Dino both notched hat tricks in the victory.
