Senior starting pitcher Teck Nash, first-year shortstop Jack O'Neil and the Hobart coaching staff took home top honors when the Liberty League announced its postseason baseball awards today. Nash was voted the Pitcher of the Year, O'Neil secured the Rookie of the Year Award and Head Coach Brad Cook and his assistants were chosen the Coaching Staff of the Year.

In total, five Statesmen were named to the All-Liberty League teams. Nash and O'Neil garnered first team honors, while senior second baseman Christian Petry, junior first baseman Sean Garvin and sophomore outfielder Jack Farnen were voted to the second team.

A three-time all-league selection, Nash is the first Statesman to win the League's Pitcher of the Year Award. He sports a career-low 3.39 ERA with a 7-1 record. Nash leads the conference in innings pitched (77.0), wins and complete games (3). He is seventh in the nation in games started (13), ninth in walks allowed per nine innings (1.06), 30th in strikeout-to-walk (5.33) and 40th in victories. Nash broke the Hobart season record for innings pitched and tied the mark for wins.
