The Hobart baseball team will make its Liberty League Tournament debut against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7. The four-team, double elimination tournament will be hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology at the RIT Baseball Complex.

SCOUTING HOBART
- The Statesmen enter their first Liberty League Tournament with a 27-11 overall record, tied for the most wins in a season in program history (1994, 27-10).
- Hobart was 11-5 in conference play and is coming off a sweep of Bard in the Liberty League Crossover Series in which they outscored the Raptors 20-2.
- The Statesmen finished second in the Liberty League West with a 9-5 record.
- At the plate, Hobart is batting .309 with a league-leading 321 runs scored.
