24 Statesmen named to SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll

Twenty-four members of the Hobart hockey team were named to the 2025-26 SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll today. This year's 24 academic selections are a program record. Hobart has had double-digit honorees every year since the 2009-10 season.
 
The Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes with a 3.30 or higher cumulative grade point average as reported by the institution's compliance director.

Beaver, Belov, Daniels, Fasig and Fontana garnered conference academic recognition for the third straight year after earning NEHC All-Academic honorsover the last two years. Duclair, Lally, Mara, Morrissey and Sacchetti also earned accolades from the NEHC last year.
 
Hobart concluded its season with a 30-1-0 overall record. The Statesmen went 18-0-0 in SUNYAC play on its way to winning the regular season and tournament titles in their first season in the league. Hobart's 30 wins set a program record for wins in a season. The Statesmen advanced to the national title game where they were edged by Hamilton 2-1 in overtime.
