The Hobart football and William Smith field hockey teams announced an "Orange Out" and "Green Out" for their Homecoming and Family Weekend games this weekend. The Statesmen take on Liberty League foe, Ithaca on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. on Boswell Field at Urick Stadium, while the Herons host Vassar on Sunday at noon on McCooey Field.

For the "Orange Out," fans are encouraged to wear orange to the stadium and help create an unforgettable game day atmosphere. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a free orange Hobart T-shirt, courtesy of HWS Athletics. Shirts will be distributed at the gates when they open, 90 minutes before kickoff.

The following day, the first 100 fans in attendance will receive a free green William Smith T-shirt, courtesy of HWS Athletics. Shirts will be distributed at the gates beginning 30 minutes before the start of the match.
 
HWS Athletics is partnering with the new and improved HWS Campus Store for Homecoming and Family Weekend. Fans who receive a free T-shirt can enjoy 10% off their purchase at the Campus Store when they wear the shirt to the store.

Hobart is 2-2 on the season, including a 2-0 record at home. The Statesmen look to rebound from a 33-7 loss in its Liberty League opener at RPI last week.

William Smith is 4-6 this season and is coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to No. 11 Hamilton on Tuesday. The Herons will open conference play at RPI on Friday before returning home for their matchup with Vassar on Sunday.
