The Hobart golf team produced two top-15 finishers as the Statesmen finished in third place out of 13 teams at the St. Lawrence University Fall Invitational at the Appleton Golf Course over the weekend. Hobart finished +16 as a team, finishing nine strokes behind runners-up, Clarkson.

Sophomore Aman Dhiman and junior Robby Kurzer paced the Statesmen, finishing one and seven over par, respectively. Dhiman finished in sixth place, while Kurzer landed in a tie for 11th out of 88 golfers.

Sophomore Ben Bush also finished tied for 11th after finishing +4 on Day 2. Junior Andrew Murray finished the weekend +7, tying for 19th.

Senior Alex Moesch tied for 49th place after ending +15 over the weekend. Sophomore Alexander Enslein finished in a tie for 70th after 36 holes. He improved his game over the weekend, from shooting +12 in round one to +7 in round two.

The home team, St. Lawrence, won the team title, finishing one under par, while Clarkson placed second with a team score of +7 at the St. Lawrence Fall Invitational. Nazareth finished in fourth place, finishing two strokes behind the Statesmen. St. Lawrence's Charlie Novak was the individual medalist at the event, finishing four under par on the weekend.

UP NEXT:

Hobart will be back in action Sept. 12-13, when they travel to East Meadow, New York for the Cangero Invitational. The two-day event will start on Saturday at the Eisenhower Park Red Course.
