ROCHESTER, N.Y.—The Hobart College tennis team fell to Ithaca College 5-0 this morning, on Day 2 of the Flower City Invitational. The Statesmen slip to 1-3 on the season. 

First-years Alex Sipilief (Minisink Valley/Florida, N.Y.), Kevin Kent (Trinity-Pawling/New York, N.Y.), and Kevin Bates (Groton-Dunstable/Groton, Mass.) all held leads in their matches, at fourth, fifth, and sixth singles, respectively, when the match was decided. Due to poor weather conditions, the match had to be played inside this morning, and was shortened due to time restrictions. 

The Statesmen will be back on the courts Oct. 3-4, when they compete in the ITA Regional Championships in Willingboro, N.J.
