NORTHAMPTON, Mass.—The William Smith College squash team dropped two matched this morning on Day 2 of the Mt. Holyoke/Smith Round Robin. The Herons fell to Colby 5-4 and Wesleyan 7-2, slipping to 5-7 on the season.
Junior
Medora Hartz (Mercersburg Academy/Orlean, Va.) and sophomore
Alexa Comstock (Tabor Academy/Essex, Conn.) each won both of their matches, playing at No. 6 and No. 8, respectively, while senior
Megan Peterson (Kent School/Stamford, Conn.) and junior
Sarah Hallberg (Tabor Academy/Fairmont, W.Va.) both defeated their opponents from Colby. Peterson played in the No. 7 slot, while Hallberg competed at No. 9.
The Herons will be back in action on Feb. 7, when they travel to Hamilton and Colgate for two matches.
