HILTON HEAD, S.C.—The Hobart College tennis team closed out its spring break trip to Hilton Head by dropping its final two matches of the week. The Statesmen fell to Denison 9-0 yesterday, and lost to Missouri Valley 6-3 today. Hobart's record now stands at 2-7 overall.
Winning for the Statesmen vs. Missouri Valley was first-year
Mike Kofman (Newton South/Newton, Mass.), first-year
Walter Green (Ridgewood/Ridgewood, N.J.), and senior
Adam Cohn (Hawken School/Highland Heights, Ohio). Kofman earned the victory at No. 5 singles, and teamed up with Cohn for the win at No. 3 doubles, while Green won at sixth singles.
The Hobart tennis team will be back on the courts on Tues., March 24, when the Statesmen travel to Rochester to take on the Yellowjackets at 4 p.m.
