Four members of the Hobart tennis team were selected to the 2025-26 All-Liberty League teams, the conference office announced this morning. Senior Nick Fischer led the Statesmen, earning a spot on the singles first team as well as the doubles first team with partner and classmate Aidan Staunton. Junior Achilleas Kousaridis netted a singles honorable mention selection as well as a doubles honorable mention selection with partner, first-year Everett Reid.

Fischer earned a spot on the All-Liberty League singles team for the fourth time of his career. This year's first team selection was the second of his career after earning first team honors in 2023-24. Last season, Fischer was selected to the second team, while his rookie season saw him named an honorable mention. He concluded his senior season with a 12-7 record, including an 8-6 mark in the No. 1 position. He went 4-3 in conference play this spring after going 4-1 in the fall, winning the St. Lawrence Fall Classic A Flight singles bracket.

The Maryland Heights, Missouri, native, concluded a successful collegiate career with a 121-63 combined record. Fischer sported a 58-30 record in singles play and a 63-33 record in doubles play. This season, Fischer was selected the Liberty League Singles Performer of the Week three times, selected to the Liberty League Weekly Honor Roll three times and named to the Liberty League Doubles Team of the Week four times. In the fall, Fischer and then partner Jacob Linares were crowned the ITA Northeast Regional Doubles Champions and later advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Cup.

After the graduation of Linaresin December, Fischer was looking to fill his spot heading into dual match season. He was reunited with his rookie season partner, Staunton, who he compiled a 17-6 record with in 2022-23. This season, the duo combined for an 11-6 overall record, playing in the No. 1 spot for the Statesmen. Fischer and Staunton went 3-5 in conference play, bringing their career totals to 28-12 as partners. Their play in the spring was strong enough to earn them a spot on the All-Liberty League doubles first team for the first time of their career. Fischer and Staunton were also named the Liberty League Doubles Team of the Week once this season as well as to the Liberty League Weekly Honor Roll once.

Kousaridis earned a spot on the All-Liberty League honorable mention team after a successful junior season that saw him go 11-9 in singles. He posted for an 8-7 record in dual matches this season, going 5-2 in the No. 3 spot and 4-4 record at No. 4. Kousaridis also added wins in the No. 1 and No. 2 positions for the Statesmen. In two seasons, Kousaridis has compiled a 29-13 record in singles action. He was named to the Liberty League Weekly Honor Roll once after returning to play this season. In his rookie season, Kousaridis was named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week seven times and earned a spot on the All-Liberty League singles second team in 2023-24.

Kousaridis joined Reid in doubles play this season, posting a team-leading 12-5 record this spring, earning  a spot on the doubles honorable mention team. It was both Kousaridis and Reid's first doubles all-conference selections of their careers. The duo went 12-5 in the No. 2 spot for the Statesmen, posting a 3-5 record in conference play.
