SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Hobart College tennis team fell at Skidmore 9-0 today. The Statesmen dropped to 2-11 on the season, while the Thoroughbreds improved to 12-2 overall.
At sixth singles, first-year Walter Greene (Ridgewood/Ridgewood, N.Y.) fell to Max Bevan 6-1, 6-4, in one of the closest matches of the day. First-year
Kevin Kent (Trinity-Pawling/New York, N.Y.) and sophomore
Harry King (Concord & Carlisle/Concord, Mass.) posted a strong showing at No. 1 doubles, but eventually fell to TJ David and Carl-Eric Girardin 8-5.
Hobart will be back in action tomorrow, April 6, when the Statesmen travel to Ithaca to take on the Bombers at 4 p.m.
