The Hobart College tennis team fell to Ithaca 7-2 tonight at Bristol Field House. The Statesmen slip to 2-12 overall, while the Bombers improve to 12-3.

First-years Walter Green (Ridgewood/Ridgewood, N.J.) and Matt Hursh (Weston/Weston, Conn.) earned singles victories for the Statesmen. Green defeated Dan Adelman 6-3, 6-1 at fifth singles, while Hursh downed Dan Levine 6-2, 6-3 at No.6.

The Hobart tennis team will be back in action on April 8, when the Statesmen host Hamilton at 4 p.m.
