GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart tennis team saw its two-match win streak come to an end tonight as St. Lawrence posted a 7-2 victory in Bristol Field House. The Saints improve to 8-3, while the Statesmen fall to 6-5.

Bruce Grant earned Hobart's first point with a 6-2, 6-4 win at first singles. Kevin Bates earned the other point, outlasting his fifth singles opponent 7-5, 7-5 to extend his personal winning streak to four matches.

St. Lawrence will be back in action on March 27 when the Saints square off with the College of New Jersey in Bristol Field House at 11 a.m. The Statesmen will also battle the Lions on Saturday in a match slated to start at 4:30.
