GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College tennis team fell to Skidmore 8-1 this afternoon at the HWS Tennis Center. The Statesmen drop to 7-7 on the season, while the Thoroughbreds improve to 7-5 overall.

Senior Guillaume Etlin and sophomore Kevin Bates teamed up for the lone Hobart point. They defeated Jeremy Hogan and Alex Fromson 8-4 at third doubles.

The Statesmen will be back in action on April 7, when they visit Hamilton for a match at 4 p.m.
