GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College tennis team fell to Ithaca 8-1 today at Bristol Field House. The Statesmen now hold a 7-9 record on the season, while the Bombers improved to 8-2 overall.
First-year
Alex James won at third singles for the second time in as many days. He defeated Bomber Jimmy Newton 6-7 (6-8), 6-3, 10-7 this afternoon, after winning in the same spot vs. Hamilton yesterday. James currently owns a team-best 10-5 singles record.
The Statesmen will be back on the courts on April 11, when they host NYU at 10 a.m.
