GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith squash team, selected No. 23 in the most recent College Squash Association rankings, dropped a match 9-0 to No. 17 Hamilton College at the Smith Squash Center Friday night.

The Herons are now 9-5 overall, and the Continentals improve to 6-4 overall. First-year Tyler Mitchell played a tight match at No. 9, but was edged 11-7, 12-10, and 11-7.

The Herons will return to action on February 5, when they host Rochester at 2 p.m.
