NEW YORK, N.Y.—The Statesmen tennis team fell 8-1 to New York University in a match played this morning. NYU improves to 2-4, and Hobart is now 4-6 overall.

The duo of sophomore Sam DeLuccia and junior Kevin Bates picked up a win for the Statesmen at No. 3 doubles. They defeated New York University's Tim Wu and Daniel Huang, 8-3. DeLuccia and Bates are now 6-1 this season at No. 3 doubles.

Hobart will be back in action on March 31 when the Statesmen host RIT at 4 p.m.
