William Smith will host the 2011 Liberty League Women's Tennis Championship Tournament this weekend, May 7-8, at the HWS Tennis Center and Bristol Field House. Action will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
The third-seeded Herons (14-3) will square off against sixth-seeded Union at 9 a.m. on the indoor courts in Bristol Field House. Junior

Remy Raevsky have posted a team-high 20 wins. They have logged a 10-1 mark at the No. 3 spot.
Union comes to Geneva with an 0-12 overall record. The Dutchwomen are coming off an 8-1 loss to Rensselaer on Tuesday. Lauren Maine and Liz Lehmann teamed up for an 8-6 victory at No. 3 doubles.
Vassar is the tournament's top seed, and has a 13-6 overall record. The 2010 champions are led by Jennifer Beckerman and Jennifer Ruther who have both recorded 14 singles wins this season. Beckerman has played every match at No. 1, while Ruther has split time between the No. 2 and No. 3 spots. The Brewers who are ranked No. 25 in the country and ninth in the northeast region in the most recent ITA Division III rankings, have an opening round bye, and will take on the winner of the St. Lawrence-Rensselaer match.
Skidmore is seeded No. 2 and also have a first round bye. The Thoroughbreds are 8-8 this season. Skidmore voted No. 29 in country and are regionally ranked No. 11. The Thoroughbreds will take on the winner of the William Smith-Union first round match.
St. Lawrence is the tournament's No. 4 seed, and will take on Rensselaer at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the HWS Tennis Center. The Saints (9-2) are riding a three-match win streak, closing out their season with wins over Cortland, Hamilton, and RIT. Hilary Drewry has tallied a team-high 17 singles wins this season. She has played at the No. 2 spot in every match. The pair of Drewry and Stephanie Finn have teamed up for a team-high 18 doubles victories. They have played at the top spot in every dual match this season.
The No. 5 seed, Rensselaer has posted a 12-3 record this season. The Engineers are riding a five-match win streak. Christina Ciamarra has registered a team-high 12 singles wins. She has split time in the bottom half of the lineup. In doubles, Ciamarra and Meghan Olson lead Rensselaer with a 10-2 mark at No. 3.
The third place match will take place on Sunday at the HWS Tennis Center at 9 a.m. followed by the championship match at noon.
