GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart tennis team blanked RIT 9-0 in a match played today at the HWS Tennis Center.The Statesmen improved to 13-3 overall this season.
RIT is now 4-7 this year.

Sam DeLuccia notched the Statesmen's first singles victory 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3. Green defeated the Tigers' Larry Hall 6-2, 7-5 at No. 4, and Fields picked up his 14th victory this season, downing his RIT opponent 6-3, 6-4 at No. 5. Grant notched a 6-4, 6-4 victory at the top singles spot. At No. 6, Hursh topped Max Bogue 6-2, 6-3, and James secured the sweep with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 victory at No. 2.
The Statesmen will be back in action on Tuesday, April 10, when they host Ithaca at 4 p.m.
