GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College squash team dropped a match to No. 19 Hamilton College 9-0 tonight at the Smith Squash Center. The No. 29 Herons are now 8-7 this season.

First-year Rachel Newman put up a strong effort at the top spot, but fell 11-5, 11-6, 11-8 to the Continentals' Amanda Thorman. The Herons lost 3-0 at Nos. 1-9. Hamilton improved to 10-9 this year.

William Smith will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 9, when they host Rochester at 11 a.m.
