Heron lacrosse game vs. Hamilton moved to Carrier Dome

The William Smith lacrosse game against No. 12 Hamilton originally scheduled to be played in Clinton, N.Y., today at 4 p.m. has been moved to the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, N.Y., due to the snow and cold temperatures. The game will now be played at 7 p.m.

The Herons are 1-2 this season. They are coming off their first win of the year, a 14-11 victory at Nazareth.  Sophomore Katie Sipple leads William Smith with 13 points on five goals and eight assists. Sophomore Abbie West has chipped in a team-high six goals. First-year Marina Guigli has played the majority of minutes in goal for the Herons and is sporting a 12.59 goals against average and .356 save percentage.

The Continentals will be the third nationally ranked opponent for William Smith this season. Hamilton brings a 2-0 record into tonight's game. Rachel Friedman leads the team with 10 points on six goals and four assists. Dewi Caswell has played every minute in goal so far for the Continentals and has recorded a 6.50 goals against average and a .618 save percentage.
