The Hobart College tennis team dropped its match to Grinnell 6-3 today. It was the final match of the Statesmen's spring break trip to Orlando, Fla.

Hobart is now 2-6 overall. Grinnell came out of doubles action on top 3-0. Senior Sam DeLuccia cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 win at the No. 2 singles spot. He improved to 6-3 overall this season. First-year Michael Fields defeated his opponent 6-2, 6-3 at No. 4. He also now 6-3 in singles play this year. Senior Peter Cruice rallied for his fifth singles win this season, fighting back for a 4-6, 6-4, 10-4 at No. 5.

The Statesmen will be back in action on March 27, when they travel to take on Ithaca at 4 p.m.
