Results

The Hobart College tennis team dropped its match this afternoon to visiting St. Lawrence. The match was played on the indoor courts in Bristol Field house. The Statesmen are now 3-12 overall, and the Saints improved to 10-5.

Senior Bruce Grant and sophomore Michael Fields paired up for a 9-7 win at the top doubles spot. Grant and Fields lead Hobart with a 9-9 overall doubles record.

Grant earned his second win of the afternoon, topping his Saints opponent 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 singles. Fields also earned two victories today. He picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3. Fields leads Hobart with a 9-8 overall singles record.

The Statesmen will be back in action when they travel to play at RIT on Thursday, April 18 at 4 p.m.
