The William Smith College squash team earned two 9-0 victories today in Hamilton, New York, to close out the 2014 portion of its schedule. The Herons defeated Dickinson 9-0 and then blanked host Colgate 9-0 to improve to 7-2 this season.

Jocelyn McKenzie won 10-12, 11-9, 11-6, 12-10 at the top spot. First-year
Cashel McCarthy rallied for a 9-11, 11-6, 11-8, 11-6 win at No. 2 and sophomore
Allie Rubin registered a 6-11, 11-6, 11-5, 11-7 win at No. 3. Senior
Andrea Tran picked up a 11-8, 11-3, 11-8 triumph at No. 4 and sophomore
Delaney Teceno recorded an 11-6, 11-3, 11-8 victory at No. 5. First-year
Michaelann Denton topped her opposition 11-4, 11-6, 11-4 at No. 6 and sophomore
Brooke Hayes posted an 11-5, 11-4, 11-1 win at No. 7. At No. 8, first-year
Anna Worcester won 11-6, 11-2, 11-6 at No. 8 and senior
Molly Doran earned an 11-7, 11-7, 11-4 win at No. 9.

Against the Raiders, McKenzie triumphed 11-8, 11-4, 12-10 at No. 1 and McCarthy notched an 11-3, 11-7, 11-0 win at No. 2. At No. 3, Rubin cruised to an 11-2, 11-4, 11-1 win and Tran downed her competitor 11-0, 11-0, 11-1 at No. 4. Teceno logged an 11-1, 11-1, 1-4 triumph at No. 5 and Denton added an 11-2, 11-0, 11-3 win at No. 6. At the No. 7 spot, Hayes produced an 11-2, 11-2, 11-2 win and Worcester earned an 11-5, 11-0, 11-0 victory at No. 8. Doran posted an 11-2, 11-0, 11-1 victory at the No. 9 spot.
