The Hobart College tennis team fell 8-1 to visiting NYU in a match played on the outdoor courts at the HWS tennis center today. The Statesmen are now 8-7 this season.
 
Junior Michael Fields and first-year Matt DePrima teamed up for Hobart's lone victory at the top doubles spot. The pair improved to 5-4 this year.
 
The Statesmen will be back in action on Saturday, April 12, when they host Rensselear at 1 p.m.
