The William Smith College squash team will be competing in the 2015 College Squash Association Team Championships in the Epps Cup this weekend, Feb. 13-15.

This year, there are 44 teams competing in six divisions. Matches will be played at Harvard and MIT.

The Herons, who are ranked No. 25 in the most recent College Squash Association rankings, are 12-5 heading into the championships. William Smith will face No. 32 Boston College in its opening round match on Friday, Feb. 13, at 4:15 p.m. at Harvard. On Saturday, the Herons will face either No. 29 Georgetown or No. 28 Mount Holyoke, also at Harvard.

Michaelann Denton and sophomore
Delaney Teceno lead the team with 13 wins each. Denton has played at Nos. 2, 3, 5 and 6. She's 13-4 overall, including an 8-0 mark at No. 6. Teceno is also 13-4 this season. She has played at Nos. 3-5. Teceno is 1-0 at No. 3, 2-1 at No. 4 and 10-3 at No. 5.

The Herons are looking to improve on a 1-2 record in the 2014 Epps Cup. Now in its 16th varsity season, William Smith is seeking its fourth CSA Cup, having captured the 2006 and 2007 Walker Cup and the 2009 Epps Cup.
